For assessment, diagnoses & counseling

Monday to Friday: 11.30 am to 2.30 pm

Entry Point:

At the time of birth or after that if parents find that there child is abnormal and could not reach normal development, they usually consult physicians, recommended by physicians or sometimes of their own, they bring the child to our institute for assessment, diagnosis and counseling.

Objectives:

• To assess the problem of the child.
• To diagnose the nature of disability and its severity.
• To Prescribe intervention
• To set the goals of rehabilitation

In this department there are specialized professionals like psychologist, psychiatrist, pediatrician, speech therapist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, Special educator, who attend, assess and diagnosis the nature of disability of the child and finally counsel the parents for undergoing therapeutic treatment, special education and vocational training as per available ability of the child.
